CPR Feedback with the Powerheart G5 AED
The Powerheart G5 AED provides CPR feedback through electrodes with a built-in CPR module. Thanks to the RescueCoach™ instructions, rescuers are guided through each step of the CPR, preventing human error. This makes the device suitable for both experienced and inexperienced users, who can easily operate the AED.
Features and Technology of the Powerheart G5 AED
The Powerheart G5 AED has an IP55 rating, which means it is water and dust resistant, ideal for use in challenging environments. The AED opens at the push of a button, and the electrodes are located behind the cover. Clear voice instructions and an LCD display guide the rescuer during resuscitation. Optional child electrodes are available for pediatric resuscitation. The semi-automatic model evaluates the heart rhythm and prompts the rescuer to press the shock button if necessary.
The AED features Rescue Ready® technology , which performs daily self-tests to check the battery, electrodes, software and hardware. This way you always know that the AED is ready for use.
CPR feedback during use
The supplied electrodes are equipped with a CPR sensor that measures the depth and rate of chest compressions. This palm-sized sensor is placed on the chest and helps rescuers to perform compressions according to the ERC guidelines for resuscitation. The AED provides immediate feedback on the correct rate and depth, which improves the quality of resuscitation.
