Features and technology of the Powerheart G5 AED
The Powerheart G5 AED has an IP55 rating , meaning it's highly resistant to water and dust. This makes it suitable for a variety of environments, such as sports clubs, businesses, and outdoor locations.
The AED is activated with a single button press, after which the electrodes are easily accessible behind the cover. Clear voice instructions and the LCD display guide the user through every phase of resuscitation.
For pediatric resuscitation, optional pediatric electrodes are available.
The semi-automatic model analyzes the heart rhythm and prompts the user to press the shock button when necessary.
The AED also performs daily self-tests using Rescue Ready® technology , which continuously monitors the battery, electrodes, hardware, and software. This way, you always know the Powerheart G5 is ready for use.
CPR feedback during use
The included electrodes are equipped with a CPR sensor that measures the depth and rate of chest compressions. This palm-sized sensor is placed on the chest and helps rescuers perform compressions according to the ERC guidelines for resuscitation. The AED provides immediate feedback on the correct rate and depth, improving the quality of resuscitation.
