Affordable Prestan CPR torsos
The Prestan CPR torsos are designed to train trainees in the correct application of force and frequency during chest compressions. This pack of four torsos is ideal for CPR courses or first aid lessons in larger groups, such as in schools. The mannequins are remarkably lightweight, which makes them easier to transport compared to other brands. With a realistic appearance and tactile experience, the Prestan torso increases the effectiveness of the training. The torso meets all guidelines of both the FDA and the ERC.
Unique feedback system for optimal training
Prestan has developed an innovative feedback system consisting of a feedback monitor to check the compression rate and a clicker mechanism to ensure the correct compression depth. The feedback monitor uses colored lights that provide direct feedback on both the depth and the rate of the chest compressions. At a rate of less than 100 compressions per minute, the orange light lights up. At an optimal rate of 100 to 120 compressions per minute, two green lights light up. A flashing orange light warns when the rate is too high. The clicker mechanism gives an audible signal when the correct compression depth is reached, giving trainees direct feedback to improve their technique. This contributes to a highly effective and accurate resuscitation training.
